Dr Jana Willer-Gold
Departmental Lecturer in Psycholinguistics and Experimental Syntax
My research interests are in syntax and its interface with semantics and morphology, and in syntactic theory and its interfaces with experimental linguistics and psycholinguistics. I work on theoretical modeling of phenomena (conjunct agreement, double object constructions, feature markedness, ellipsis) which inform us of inherent biases in comprehension and production by studying languages from genetically unrelated language families ( Slavic, Bantu, Indo-Aryan) and collecting data using production and comprehension experiments often on a large scale.
